we are serving the noon meals for students at Govt model H.S.S punnamoodu school.

Based on BE.d curriculum, second phase teaching practice in third semester was started in 24/06/2019.The school allotted for me was Govt model H.S.S punnamoodu.Three of us from natural science optional in christ nagar college of education went to this school. The last day of teaching practice is 22/08/2019.

As part of second semester B.Ed curriculam we conducted a puppetry show.

As part of our B.Ed. curricullam 3rd semester we conducted five days residensial camp on april 9-14  at christ nagar college of teacher education thiruvallam.the camp theame name is SAMYOGA. There were duties such as cooking,cleaning,yoga,cultural programs etc.The camp organiser mrs.shoniya mam.

A study among students interest on stitching

Introduction   

My topic for practicum is “A study among students interest on stitching”. The aim of this study is to identify student talents in stitching. The research paper contains hypothesis, research questions, survey questions, data collection, graphical representation of the data.

Next, take a look at the hypothesis.

Hypothesis

Students who stitch regularly may develop a better creativity than those who do not stitch regularly.

Next section says about the research questions.

Research questions

·        What types of cloth do students like to stitch?

·        While stitching dresses do students can acquire any designing skill?

·        Does it have any benefits to the students?

  The next section deals with the literature review.

 Literature review

A stitch is a single turn or loop of tread. Stitches are the fundamental elements of sewing, knitting, embroidery, crochet, and needle lace-making, whether by hand or machine. A variety of stitches, each with one or more names, are used for specific purposes (Kumari, 2012).

Next, the discussion is moving on to the survey questions.

        Most of the people answer cotton material and two people  prefer shiffon because cotton material is easily to handle.

Conclusion

As per of B.Ed curriculum we done a practium work. In this activity I understood the various levels of creativity that inclucated in B.Ed. student teachers. The result indicate that the participants had noticed the significance of stitching.There should be an introduction,development of research topic through hypothesis, research questions, survey questions, data collection, tabulation of data and conclusion. This practicum is very useful for further reference. From this I understood to set hypothesis, to set survey questions and how to conduct a research.

By doing this practicum I understood how a research is done. Also I learned to set the hypothesis, to set the research questions and to conduct a survey.
